Separating & Foaming
FOAMING WITH ASTI-OP – TERASKE SANITÄTSHAUS
Teil 3/4

1Preparation:
Measure the volume using peas. Loosen the caps on the containers, open them slightly to speed up the process.

2Pour equal parts of ASTI-OP (component A) and ASTI-B (Component B) into the container / refer to the BEIL table for exact proportions.

PREVENT CRYSTAL FORMATION
Wipe the container openings with a paper towel after each use to prevent crystal formation, especially on Component B.

3 Shake the mixture until the second color change occurs (from lighter to darker) and pour it into the plaster mold.

SHAKE INSTEAD OF STIRRING
Shake rather than stir, using a screw-top container with a hole in the bottom and a plastic bag (e.g., from Lebri). This method is cleaner, reduces splashing, and creates less waste.

4Curing:
Allow the foam to cure for 10 – 15 minutes; its volume will approximately double during this time.

WELL-VENTILATED
Ensure the workspace is well-ventilated or use an extraction system.
